AirsoftMaine.com and everything within the pages is, and always will be 100% no cost for fields and players. We are here to support the community, not nickel and dime it to death.
Having said that, hosting fees are a reality, and we would very much like to get these fees covered, and perhaps raise enough capital to be able to further invest in the site (“pro” versions of the add-ons, which have more features, etc.) and be able to do up some official AirsoftMaine merch for the players. Seriously, who doesn’t love patches? 🙂
To this end, we have ad space available in the top right corner of every page on the site. However, there are some requirements:
- The ad must be for airsoft-related goods or services.
- The advertisee must be in Maine.
- The ad is limited to 375 pixels x 90 pixels.
To circumvent adblockers, we are going to use a different method to display ads. We’ve implemented a “slide show” system to display ads. Each price point is for the maximum time the ad is displayed before the next ad shuffles in. If you’ve paid for a 20-second ad, it will be displayed for 20 seconds before the next advertiser is shown, even if the user clicks over to another page on the site.
Price Structure:
Bronze – $25 per month ($250 per year)
- One 375 pixels x 90 pixels ad in upper right corner
- Display time of 10 seconds
Silver – $50 per month ($500 per year)
- One 375 pixels x 90 pixels ad in upper right corner
- Display time of 20 seconds
Gold – $75 per month ($700 per year)
- Two 375 pixels x 90 pixels ads in upper right corner
- Display time of 10 seconds (each)
Platinum – $100 per month ($900 per year)
- Two 375 pixels x 90 pixels ads in upper right corner
- Display time of 20 seconds (each)
FAQ
Q:Â Will my ad be noticed?
A: You’re reading this, aren’t you? There is no other way to access this page other than to click on the “Your Ad Here” ad.
Q:Â Do you track clicks?
A: No. Analytics are one way that adblockers determine what should be blocked and what isn’t blocked. If we implemented a click tracker, the ads would most likely be blocked. Your web provider should have a site statistics option so you can see where your traffic is coming from.
